Hey, sorry this review is so late, our internet has been really wonky over the past couple days, but better late than not at all. Here you go.
TITLE: The Invention of Hugo Cabret
AUTHOR: Brian Selznick
REVIEW: This book is about orphan Hugo, who lives within the walls of a crowded parisian subway. When Hugo works to repair a broken automaton, it leads him on an incredible journey filled with discoveries about the past, his father, and the automaton. The story is not just told through words, but illustrations as well, which helps make it a great read.

This week's review
TITLE: Diary of a Wimpy Kid
AUTHOR: Jeff Kinney
REVIEW: I know this seems like it's just for kids, but it's actually pretty funny. Written by #1 New York Times best-selling author Jeff Kinney, Diary of a Wimpy Kid follows the life of "wimpy kid" Greg Heffley as he deals with the most difficult challenge of his life: Middle school. As he works his way through the school's wrestling unit, fights with his best friends, and the school play, he reveals all accompanied by cartoon illustrations and jokes that make this book worth the read- and re-read!
RATING: 4.1 out of 5.0

Review time!
OK, so this is my first (public) book review, so don't be too harsh on me.
TITLE: Do Hard Things
AUTHORS: Alex and Brett Harris
REVIEW: This truly is an amazing book. The authors, Alex and Brett Harris, encourage teens through this book that the teen years are the years that hold the most freedom- and the most potential. They encourage us that it is possible to break out of this slump in life that we call "the teen years", and that, instead of a life of complacency and ease, that the most fulfillment in life is what the title suggests: to "do hard things".
They explain what the idea is based on, and share the stories of multiple teenagers who decided to break out of the cultural norm and do hard things. I reccomend this book for anyone that is tired of life, feels that their life is a hollow shell of what it could be, or is searching for deeper meaning
You won't be dissapointed.
